As one final get together before we move to Brazil, we went to Disney with Hayden’s sister and family, Hayden’s mom and Ellis, and my parents. We had a fantastic room at The Contemporary Resort’s Bay Lake Tower that was three bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and a huge two-story window in the living room overlooking the Magic Kingdom. The room was beyond amazing, but having the opportunity to spend time with our family before we leave was fantastic.

After an unexpected delay on Sunday, we arrived in Florida late Sunday night. Dad and Les came to pick us up from the airport…without a car seat for Jacob! After the long day we had, no car seat was barely a blip on the radar. We spent Monday resting and went to a dinner show Monday night called Arabian Nights. It was a show with horses and some scantily clad women 🙂

Tuesday we went to Hollywood Studios (my favorite!) and Hayden kicked my butt, again, on the Toy Story ride. Wednesday Aunt Shonda drove to meet us and we all went to Epcot. Jacob’s eyes had started getting a little gross (mucus-like stuff in them) on Sunday, but Wednesday it was really bad. As a result, Wednesday night we went to urgent care and found out it was pink eye. Thursday we visited the Magic Kingdom and Friday we went to Animal Kingdom. This was our first trip to Animal Kingdom and I really liked it. Saturday we hit Blizzard Beach and then returned home on Sunday.

Overall, it was a fun week! We spent some great time with family, had an amazing view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks from our balcony every night, and got to share Disney with Jacob for the first time.
